Default 5700kv brushless in 1/10 car

I know this is not a crawler question, but I am just wondering how well a 5700kv on a 2s battery would run in a 1/10 buggy? I want little to no cogging going slow. I wan't speed, but not crazy fast and I know with more speed usually means cogging with a sensorless system.

i'm pretty sure it'll be fast, I have a 5700kv on 2s on my shortcourse truck and it's fast, as far a the cogging is concern im not sure if theres a real way around it or you can gear it really low.

I ran a 6900kv brushless motor in my ax10 with a 7.2v stick pack, the rig weighed in around 9 lbs at the time, it was stupid fast. It cogged horribly though and had very little torque, I have been told that they tend to cog less with higher voltages, but I haven't verified. I think that motor should be plenty fast for you.

A 5700kv its really fast on a 10 scale i had that before but on my slash itwas heating up to much so i when back to a 4600 kv and its making a lot of difference, plus the gearing makes a los of difference. Also check the terrain that you are going to be running because the tires are going to be slippery with a 5700kv.

Hope it helps.
