| My Monster truck
I have built a clod based monster truck a few years back but i took it apart to build a 2.2 mini clod comp rig. I have been wanting to build one again so i decided to get off my butt and do it. These things are a blast to drive and they are huge. I got an original 1987 Clod from a local guy which he really didnt want to get rid of because he knew what i was going to do with it, lol. Sorry i skipped the chassis build but i got excited so i couldnt stop. Here are the specs of the truck: width- 15" wheelbase- 12" ground clearance- 5.75" plenty of flex custom made chassis useing the sideplates of a 2.2 comp shassis that i cant remember the name of. revo chocks clod axles clod wheels and tires axial scx10 cf100 body custom aluminum links Well here are the pics of what i have so far. A shot with where the body sits. It has behind the axle steering, washers in the rear to lock out the steering for now. It doesnt have that bad of flex, it is a little more than i thought. I will keep pics coming of the build and paint and then keep getting some action shots later. |

I like it!!! I own three Clods and it never even crossed my mind to use the SCX10 body. I am sure it will look badass when completed. Keep the updates coming... |
