| ORCRC Sand Dragging
Most of us have junk on our shelves, so lately we've been modifying it for sand dragging during lunch break at the competitions. Honets, Frogs, Marui Big Bears- whatever! Put paddles on and go! We've got 2 classes now: Unlimited: Anything. (Electric, Nitro- Doesnt matter) Brushed Beater Class: 12 Turn Brushed motor limit, 8 cell battery limit. Anything else goes! (No nitro) Here's the first little video from the first event: http://www.rcrockgear.com/rbgerrish/sanddrag.wmv And here's my Hornet Beater Class Dragger: thanks! |

Well, I guess it doesnt make much sense to have a shelf queen when you could build it into something you'll actually use! The Hornet body and rear tires will stay pretty, now I just gotta toss in the 17 turn speed gem and Novak XRS I've got extra. Should be fun! | |

We plan to do hill climbing too- whatever the terrain allows at the comp location. It's loads of fun to throw in some "go-fast" with all the crawling. I'll have to shoot some video of the hornet. It probably goes 28? ryan |

24-27 MPH for that bug, My rustlers and pedes hit 32-35 with a 13T trinity, which was a really fast motor. You might hit a little higher than 24-27. It should fly tho, on the sand it will be a crazy drive, BRUSHLESS HORNET.. I want one!
