Default Axial Exo

....so....who's got one pre-orderd? What else have you got coming/are going to order for motor/esc?

lastly, what are your plans for scale looks? what are you leaving alone, and what are you planning to change?

I was undecided about whether or not I'd order one, until my wife made my mind up for me...she asked me what I wanted for Christmas. When I told her, she said "order it, here's my credit card"

TOO EASY!!!

Now, all of those other questions are begging to be answered. What motor/esc the biggest question. I'm VERY partial to HH stuff; love the torquemaster in my Wraith. But, the big question is whether or not to go brushless or not.

I think it's got a fair bit of potential for scale, but at the same time it could be a killer fast basher, in which case I'm not sure I want to get too scale-ish looking...that stuff is just gonna get snapped off.

So, what are your plans?

that is indeed the one. What I was hoping for was more concrete ideas other than "wow that's cool" "love/hate ther wheels" and " gee, its fast" of which there is already, what? 21 pages of?

C'mon, no one who's pre-ordered has firmed up any thoughts on what they're gonna run in this truck?

I gotta say at first i was all over this thing. But I dont do short course, so I might get another wraith instead, down the road. I just think its more versatile, but for track/trail/foff this thing should be sweet. I would recommend a wraith setup with lower gearing. A fast holmes motor or it would prob scream with brushless.

my first thought was to buy just the body, chassis, and interior then put a set of wraith axles under it for a four seat rock buggy look. really wont be able to tell if that would look right until i get my hands on one tho.

I was the same way until I made a trip down to drive with TURTLE on his Rally Course. I got an HPI Mini-Trophy truck and have never had so much fun. Ty plans to have a class for these as well, so I'm definitely getting one.

I already have a 17.5 Novak Brushless and Mamba Max Pro so that's what I plan to run.

I'm planning on staying brushed, I think. I love mud and water, and I think that's where this truck is giong to wind up, often.
Pretty sure it'll be another HH set-up going in this truck; just have to decide on how many turns I want to go. I've got a couple of motors sitting around, and a 21T torquemaster currently in the Wraith. I expect I'll re-gear it and throw it in as a baseline, and go from there
