Kyosho Blizzard SR video fun RC

This is my Winter toy. I am new to owning the Blizzard and love it.

I modified this one with a much better ESC called a Sabertooth 2x12RC. I have it setup to drive with the right stick on my TX. It steers like a joystick drive...very cool and much easier to control compared to using left and right sticks together.

I have the left stick open for the blade when I have it on but prefer to run without because it is more fun and doesn't snag up in the deep snow.

Nice vid. Always wanted to get me one of them Blizzards. How are they in terms of upgradability or modding?

I was wondering how fast they ran and what they were capable of. LHS has one sitting out and it always looked gimmicky to me, but that vid discredits my initial impression.

The Blizzards are great. This one has dual 380 more like 370 motors. With the new ESC (Sabertooth 2x12 RC) it drives way better than stock setup. There is a nice Snowcats forum that I joined to find out about the mods and upgrades. Rogue Elements is working on some custom parts for it too.....he plans on dual 540 motors.

It is plenty fast with the little motors because of all the plastic gears and stuff. You don't want to get too carried away.
