|  question for 1/16 slash owners
do you know if the center shafts (going from tranny to diff) are standard 5mm like our crawlers? particularly, are the outputs from the diff (that would go to the tranny, not the wheels) is that output ("pinion") 5mm? |

The pinions are 4mm I would assume the center diff is 4mm as well.

Traxxas has some 4mm stuff of their boats. I don't remember which, but I used a set to adapt to stamped sliders.
