| Losi 1/24 micro brushless 4wd rally car
Saw this in the lhs the other day and having already owned a few losi micro's (1/36 micro-t,1/24 trail trekker) i figured sure why not quite impressed with this little car, was ripping it around a bunch of drift cars trying not to get rocked and she survived all i have done so far is remove the stock decals Lost the tail lights while removing the decal so i used a red sharpie |

They are 2.4 but not lipo. I bought one prior going on a deployment, and its too small for almost anything but pavement rally. I had the trans lock up on me because of a pinhead sized grain of dirt.

I bought a micro 2s for it just need a charger, and yea its more for pavement but I'm gonna use a chunk of an old screen window and try making a shield for it other than that I also want to try making some drift tires for it and I'm gonna start ordering some aluminum pieces for it soon

I just traded one of these off. Tons of fun. You can get poly slip-over drift tires from DP, and GPM makes a one-piece delrin drift tire/wheel (twheel???). The DP's are totally smooth, and make an awesome carpet tire. The GPM's have a knurled surface and make a better concrete/hard wood floor/linoleum tire. Also, get a wing from a Redcat Sumo Micro Truggy and build a styrene/aluminum exhaust if you're after the Ken Block'ish look. Locking both diffs with automotive ultra black, limited shocks, and mounting my LiPo (Zippy 350, two nickels in stock compartment to balance weight side to side) on the front bumper really helped as well. Tons of fun can be had, just don't expect a micro that handles like a 1:10 drifter. These cars are a little short in length for how wide they are. No matter what, they LOVE to swap ends...quickly! Also, watch the temps. The brushless gets hot with the RPMs up and very little real speed for air.
