Looks cool! I've built one just like that. Do the 3rd shock mod if it's not already done. Will save you headache later!

1st gen grasshoppers has a very simple axle mount so there's no need for the 3rd shock.

Gonna try a unsensored outrunner. Just a little guy though. Same goes for the battery. Gonna try to keep things light.

Body is mounted.
Bearings added

Don't really care for the over hanging front end on this particular body.
A tube bumper that removes the tip of the hood will be added.

Have u tried a sandscorcher body on this? Im thinking it might fit a bit better without the front overhang. Parma makes a clear lexan one if u want something inexpensive.

Got this body at my lhs for $16. I'll make it work. Thinking a bumper like this.

Whatever I have thats about to go bad.

There's roughly $18 into this build. Trying to stay as close to that as possible.

Got it running with the stock motor on 3s and realize it needs more power. Looking at dropping a 380 sized 4000kv motor on 3s. Pretty fun just tooling around the house but I can see where this gets boring outdoors.
