Thought someone might dig this. I built this to be run with paddles in the rear, just to play in the snow. Turns out it's my most fun rig when I throw some spare 1.9's on it. It's a great GoPro carriage too! TIG'd chassis, XL-5, Titan 12 turn, and rustler suspension on a 2s. With a 20t pinion, it runs surprisingly quick! I also couldn't help but toss on some (mostly 3D printed) scale goodies. Sorry for the terrible phone pictures. Maybe I'll drag myself away from my current build and get out the real camera soon. |

I like it! I have one that is similar that I run on the sand dunes with paddles. Im running a vxl system on 3s. I like the look of yours better. Kinda makes me wanna rebuild mine again. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH Fierce using Tapatalk |

I really like the one with the mud terrain tires, how did you get the a arms so high up with that much "travel" - CrawlerColby |

Thanks for the kind words guys. JC, I've got a set of paddles for my rig too. She's a hoot when there's just an inch or two of snow. Anything over that she just digs holes. This is an older picture. What size front's are you running? Looks way better than my SC set. Crawler - I had to clearance the A arms where the shock mounts. They're Traxxas big bore 100mm's, with some stops to keep them around 90 fully extended. I gain some good cornering when the rigs riding lower than this, but I like the ground clearance and travel better this way. Runs way better around the bumpy back yard than my fiance's stock Rustler. |

Im pretty sure they are stock rustler tires. The wheels are 2.5 inches and the tire is just under 4 inches. I had those same paddles on mine but it dug holes in the sand. I had to give it a push start then it was ok. The big sand paws fixed that problem. I ran it at the beach today actually. Wrong time of year, to many people at the beach now. For some reason oiled up girls laying in the sun dont like 10 foot roosts of sand going by them at 50mph lol. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH Fierce using Tapatalk |
