| Walked in to my LHS
I walked into my LHS on Monday. With all the intentions of buying a new scx10 or the bomber. I was debating. I walked out with the new Xmaxx from traxxas. No idea how. But I did. I havent ran it yet due to the freezing temperatures. But I will say they are huge! I am working on putting a castle 2028 motor and esc in the truck in the next few weeks. |

Congrats! I've had one for a couple weeks, ran prob 6 times. No problems yet. I don't think you'll see the need for the 1/5 castle setup, the truck is fairly light for the size and efficient. I do kinda want to put a castle monster x in it as everyone who has said it has more bottom end/midrange feel, and maybe go up a tooth or so pinion. The stock setup has no problem packing the wheels though. It's a neat truck, and a beast. I've been running it off some old 5000mah 40c zippy pack. I just got some fresh 8000's couple days ago. See how it does with those this weekend.
