The sand rail is sweet and I miss my ol' king cab too you have a nice collection of KC's

If I had to narrow it down to my favorite TAMIYA the AVANTE would be #1 and the KING CAB #2

Currently, my favorite is my E-maxx which is a 16" WB Torque Monster in prrogress. I need improved electronics and we will see how the trans holds up.

Thumbs up E Maxx!

The E Maxx is the most bang for the buck and thats why its my fave....

I ran alot of machines, never was I blown away like when I ran that first set of pack through my Maxx.

What a stout machine too.... I remember 755 motors with 7 cells and 22 tooth pinions and jumbo kongs.

Keeping it going straight was hard as hell! If I can run right into a lightpole at full speed and keep going, I think traxxas has done its job!

Suck it HPI guys! Nitro stinks!

Get the supermaxx Idler gear set, they are steel.
Donot run the aluminum input gear unless you wanna change it all the time...

Get the supermaxx gears and the tranny will handle whatever you can throw at it.

Yes they will breakdown, but they are VERY stout.

This is easy, my favorite R/C's are Motorcycles. I've got a few electrics and few nitro's. If you ride 1:1's then you'd really appreciate these 1:5's. I've also got two old Blackfoots at my moms that I'm thinking of restoring someday.

Replica of Colin Edwards' 05 MotoGp bike

What's yours?

W0W dude, bring back memories of my favorite RC racer...I spy a Green Machine motor, Sanyo SCR1400s, and a Slot Machine motor...don't recall who made that pukey green steering bellcrank setup though...A&L was it? I had the same car and a few of the same other parts...great car! Won alot of races with that buggy.

My all time favorite tuck was a T-Maxx truck that I built.........I wish I never sold it:-( I made a chassis plate that was 2-1/2" longer than stock, custom made chassis braces for 4 wheel steering, clod tires, Locked diffs front and rear, 4 wheel steering. For power I used a Fox Eagle .61.

how the **** did you keep that thing together. i have an e-maxx and it is not nearly as strong as my savage. i cant see a t-maxx with a .61 in it staying together expecially with clod tires!!!

Well the diffs was replaced with hardend gears and spools, the tranny gears are metal, the dive shafts was made out of Craftsman 1/4" drive extentions and wobble joints(u-joints). So it could handle the power fairly well. I think that is how it stayed together.
