Default Upgrades for TT02

I just picked up a TT02 drift spec and I'm in need of shocks. Anyone have a good but affordable recommendation for shocks and any other recommendations on upgrades for it as well. I've ordered a couple sets of tires n wheels, a BL motor/esc, a servo and an R34 body. Maybe I dont need to upgrade but this is my first on road car so looking for any suggestions on upgrades!!! Thanks!!

EDIT: in case it matters, I wont be racing with it. Just playing on roads and in parking lots.

I just built the TT-02 SR. I highly recommend the yeah racing motor mount, the aluminum drive shaft, and aluminum steering linkage. The rear diff uses 8mm shims if yours has too much slop.

Also, the screws strip the plastic pretty easy, so don’t over tighten them.

Have fun building it!

Doesn't the drift spec come with oil shocks? In any case, Tamiya's CVA's work great. They are not the prettiest looking things, but they are smooth and leak free. A Tamiya spring set is all you'll need for tuning.

Yeah Racing makes some good aluminum shocks in various colors at a decent price. I run them on several chassis. 55 mm is what you are looking for:

These are YR shocks on my Evo3:

Yes it does. I'm short 2 shocks tho so I figured I'd just get a whole set. 55mm is the main thing I was looking for and looks arent a big deal since they really wont be visible when the body is. I just wanted something that's gonna handle good. Did you need to tune the YR shocks at all?
