I'm in Concord right on the border with Huntersville. I moved from Loudon NH in July of this year. I am having a tough time finding a place to run my trucks. Not to many rocks around me just a bunch of red clay.

Hey guys, I'm in western NC about an hour from the TN border. I know of a few good spots out this way, and there's some cool stuff around the Asheville area too. I'm probably about four hours from the Charlotte area.

Myrtle Beach SC here just across the border. Just wanted to check with you hpiguy since you are in western NC. Have you or anyone been to Stone Mountain near W. Jefferson NC? Used to cut Christmas trees up that way with a friend who's dad had a tree farm on some land right outside of W. Jefferson. This was back in the early 90's before the crawl scene so all we did was some hiking there no rc stuff. The terrain and the varity of it at the park was amazing, possibe crawler heaven as I remember. Woods trails to rocky wood trails not to mention the mountain itself which from miles away on the way in looks like a giant granite bowling ball with moon like terrain on the mountain itself. It would be worth a trip to anyone within a 200 mile radius, or more lol. Don't know anyone who has taken a crawler there though and I haven't been up that way in years so I don't know how rc friendly it is. Just wanted to check and see if you or anyone else has been up that way.

Welp, I'm a waaays from Charlotte, but to the Myrtle Beach guys I'm right next door in Calabash, NC! Currently building my WK Crawler right now, I'm hoping to find somewhere near Rockingham to run, since I have family there and I travel up there a good bit. |

I'm in Wilmington, NC. There are 3 of us here. One with a WK. Another guy with a WK Tuber and a new AX-10 (not quite finished). I have a SW3, BMVII and BULU-2 carbon. We just play around on rock piles we can find (not a lot of good crawling places at the beach), but would be interested in checking out what a comp is all about if there was one close enough. Anybody else around, feel free to contact me!!!
