ANDERSON R/C 2010 Sportsman Class Fall Series

Anderson R/C and T1E have been gracious enough to sponsor a 4 event Sportsman Class Series for this Fall. This will be a best 3 out of 4 events series. The entry fee for this event will be $20. Deadline for entries is August 1st.

Matt has been kind enough to offer the 15% discount again. This will be available on walk in orders as well as shipped orders so no one is left out. This discount will only be avaliable to the people who register up front to run the series. I will be providing a list of competitors to Matt so that he can verify that you are planning to compete in the series. This code will be good through the last event of the series.

And new for this series Mike and T1E are going to offer a 10% discount on T1E manufactured products.

Matt and Mike have really stepped up to support this series. Please support the vendors that support us.

The 4 dates for these events will be:
August 28 - AFLAC's playground will include a cookout to kick off the series
September 25 - Rhodhiss Dam
October 30 - Bullhole
November 20 - DPG
Rain date for each event will be the Sunday immediately following.
If I need an additional rain date I will schedule accordingly.
If we have a location issue I will be using Grier Rd. as a back up location.

Schedule:
9:00 am course builidng
9:30 am tech inspection
10:00 am competition starts
We will be following current 2010 USRCCA rules for the Sportsman Class

We will be running (3) 5 minute courses with a finals course for the top 5 drivers from each day.
Points for each event will be awarded:
1st - 100 pts, 2nd - 90pts, 3rd - 80 pts.........through 10th place with 10 pts.
There will be a 3 pt series bonus for lowest score on a course.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I will be posting the events on the NCRC calendar with RSVPs as the dates get closer.
If you are willing to help with judging the events please plan to arrive at 9am for course building if possible so we can discuss the layout of that day's courses. We would appreciate any help the participants are willing to provide to make this series great.

I hope this series goes as well as the last one did. I am hoping for a fun atmosphere where new crawlers can learn about their rigs and how to make them perform better.

Lookibg forward to this series, the last one was a blast.This is a great chance for people to get into the comps and not feel like an underdog. Looking forward to seeing some new faces too.

Thanks for taking pics guys I think we got the series off to a good start. Just in case anyone is wondering your welcome to come out and compete even if you didnt sign up for the series. Thanks to Anderson R/C and T1E for sponsering this series. Can't wait till the next one
