Saturday sounds good to me.
Just let me know about what time you guys are going to be there and I'll try to make it.
I just got my Scaler back together and it needs a good test session.

Great day for crawling!!
It was a little damp in the A.M. but quickly dried up and thr traction started to return.
Thanks to Jake and his SUPER comp crawler for making the trip from Mt. Airy, our Axial's were no match for the SUPER crawler but held our own.
It's nice to see a new face and get the word out about our "little get togethers" ,hope to see some more next time around!!

Check back here later on in the week for updates for this weekend.

Later..............

I might be going camping this weekend... not sure yet.
On another note; I dunked my Scaler in a creek the other day. So I bought me a waterproof system for it; should be here by Friday. Hopefully I can get it up and running again.
I still need to do those repairs to my Super... glad it's nothing major.

If I can make it I'll post back on here and let you know; before Sunday.

-Jake

Default Sunday

Another great day of crawling at Stone Mtn.
Shawn "Bean" was there with his zero gravity rock crawler, is there anywhere this thing can't go??
Jason "Spanky" was there as well sporting his mostly stock AX-10 trying out some changes he made over the week, he seemed very pleased with the results.
As for me--well I find myself constantly trying to keep up with "Bean", no chance there, but I did find some things that Jason and his rigs were set up like that mine was not.
So starts another week of changes that I hope will get me up and over a bit better the next time.

As always we welcome anyone to come and join us for a laid back afternoon of crawling.

Later..............

What's up guys?
Sorry I didn't make it last weekend. I ended up going camping and finally got to take my 43 Willis with us. And...my Birthday was Monday.
I've got my Scaler running again; just doin body work on it now. The Super is still down but I can make 2 new rear uppers and it's ready to roll.

So... Is any one doing any crawling this weekend?

Default Crawling this Sunday?

Hey "Gear Jammer",
Great to hear from you again!! And Happy "late" Birthday
Not sure what the plans are if any this weekend being it's Mother's Day.
I can't speak for the other fellas but I won't be able to make it Sunday for sure and Saturday is kinda iffy.
Maybe we can make plans for next weekend when everybody is free.
