Great day for crawling!! It was a little damp in the A.M. but quickly dried up and thr traction started to return. Thanks to Jake and his SUPER comp crawler for making the trip from Mt. Airy, our Axial's were no match for the SUPER crawler but held our own. It's nice to see a new face and get the word out about our "little get togethers" ,hope to see some more next time around!! Check back here later on in the week for updates for this weekend. Later.............. |

On another note; I dunked my Scaler in a creek the other day. So I bought me a waterproof system for it; should be here by Friday. Hopefully I can get it up and running again. I still need to do those repairs to my Super... glad it's nothing major. If I can make it I'll post back on here and let you know; before Sunday. -Jake | |

Another great day of crawling at Stone Mtn. Shawn "Bean" was there with his zero gravity rock crawler, is there anywhere this thing can't go?? Jason "Spanky" was there as well sporting his mostly stock AX-10 trying out some changes he made over the week, he seemed very pleased with the results. As for me--well I find myself constantly trying to keep up with "Bean", no chance there, but I did find some things that Jason and his rigs were set up like that mine was not. So starts another week of changes that I hope will get me up and over a bit better the next time. As always we welcome anyone to come and join us for a laid back afternoon of crawling. Later.............. |
