Default This saddens me

I'm currently planning to buy myself an scx10 for Christmas and I was looking into local forums/threads/people in NC when I come across the NC section on this site and another forum (ncrccrawlers)
I was so happy to find these 2 things but I notice both places are pretty much dead. What's up with that? I know there probably isn't many of us crawlers in NC but for those people who are in NC, let's keep this section of the forums active.

I'll soon be looking for people to meet and places to crawl once I do get my scx10 and I would hate for this section to still be inactive when that time comes. C'mon NC folks, let's stick together here

I feel your pain, I came here a while back looking for local crawling action but found few. I have a ScX-10 and go to Pilot Mtn., Stone Mtn., and Hanging rock on a regular basis. Once you get your rig up and running we'll have to pic a warm day to hit the rocks and break in that crawler! Shoot me a message sometime.

I've already thought about places to crawl and pilot mtn and hanging rock is what I thought of. I don't believe I've ever been to stone mtn

I'll definitely be trying to get up with some people once I do get my scaler. 2 hours to Asheville isn't too bad for me

All I ask right now of the NC folks is that we try and stay active in this section

It will come around guys, Xmas season is really busy for almost everyone!

I got an event coming up this sunday, Novemeber the 10th. Yal should check out the SC forums when you can, its not too far away! We usually have an event/comp every month or so if not a GTG or cookout of some sort.

I'll definitely come out to an event sometime once I get my scaler. Boiling Springs is only 2 hours away from me so that's doable.

Well please post up whenever you guys are planning to get together. I've already read about the comps in SC and will join those as much as I can. You are talking about the warehouse, right?

Slim, I could come down late morning and run trails with you. How about Crowders Mt, or Kings Mt? I have family in Clover.
