| Robert L. Smith Park?
Saw posts on Robert L. Smith park in charlotte. Went there yesterday and had a hard time finding locations to crawl that weren't occupied by disc golfers. Can anyone that's been there clue me in on where to go specifically? Thanks! |

Hey, I'm not sure about exactly where at rl smith but I can tell you the disc golf course is amazing and hole 18 is a very steep hill that is perfect for climbing but I wouldn't suggest being on a disc golf hole because I have seen a guy take a disc to the face and end up on the ground.

Yeah, I was back there with my kids and the next thing I know there are discs flying around. Hmmm, wish there was a little more info on this place.

The problem is rl imo is the best park that i know of but the disc golf course is surrounding all the great hills, rocks abd streams. Charlotte has a dg course at almost every park and the designers want to attract the players so they used the best parts for the course designs. I want to explore the mountain of there west of charlotte but it is a haul from mooresville.

Yeah. I am in Huntersville. Crowders seems like it would be a fun crawling spot. |

What kind of rig are you crawling with? Is this a comp rig or something like an scx or yeti or wraith? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: Robert L. Smith Park? There are some pretty cool places around the whitewater center that a bomber or wraith or yeti could have fun on... Igh as you come down the hill at the entrance is a natural area that would be a decent warm-up. And to the right side at the beginning of the MTB trails is a rocky area that can be fun. At the open section at the top of gathering area for the whitewater there is a section with boulders that have been cemented together. I used to play around on this with my comp crawler and had fun doing so. As my rig became more capable and so did my diving it started to become a little on the easier side but it would be very extreme for one of the rock racer style rigs.
