Default Another Trail Comp...

Tony and I have been talking of having another Trail comp on Saturday November 1st, weather permitting. We will run it like the last trail comp with the bonus points for scale parts. So get to detailing your Trail rigs and plan on being here in Fargo on Saturday November 1st at 11 am. If you want different directions to the trail area just post here and I will suplly them for you.

Hope everyone can make it and the weather is good. We will keep you updated...

Thanks, Dave

Sounds fun I dunno if I'll be able to make that one though I don't even know if I'll even have a trail truck in time for the lake comp.

I'll be there, and I'm bringin some milk jugs full of water so we can get some mud action going

Anybody want to do another comp rig run?

Dave, do you have the results for just the comp rigs from last time? I was kinda interested how I did just in the comp part.

One question, not sure what thread to post it in so I figured this one would work considering it is for a future trail comp.

would this be considered scale considering it is modeled after a 1:1? and could I run it in a trail comp, if not what would I have to change?

I'd say it could qualify as scale because I've seen quite a few 1:1 comp buggies posted up around the net but you'll get even less points than my Sniper. Probably none, I get some bonuses for interior, winch and a now a couple bits hanging onto it. I can't see where you'd get any using the same guidelines we did last time. That's not to say it doesn't look good, I kinda like the little moon buggies. I've been tossing around the idea of doing that for my MRC.

Well here's what I'll be running if I go to the trail comp out there if you guys are even still having it? Hope to get a dummy winch, scale motor, and a full interior done before then.

I bought a couple scale seats, maybe I could fit one in for a point or two

I'm not to worried about points for accessories, I just want to be able to compete with this rig. However, my chassis won't be done until december. ecoli is pretty backed up but he does some awesome work!

Maybe just as little as adding a few deductions like steel tube roll cage or intergrated tow points ( mine has 'em anyway front and rear ). I'm just throwing a few things out there to try and keep up with all the bicycles, spare tires and such that have no place on tubed rock buggies.

I'm with Jim let the tuber clan begin. And the stinger is just something to stuff into the dirt LOL.
