Mark and I have been talking about getting some scale comps together over the summer. This thread is for discussing when and where these events should be, and also what classes and rules we would like to run. This will be a competition. Not just a GTG.

Ideas?

The way things are going I say sell the comp rigs and go all scale!

With the summer it gets busy so I think have the scale comp the same weekend as the comp.

Rules set it up the same as a comp but no reverse, Timed coarses, I think winching should be allowed but that can be voted on.
Classes (just for steve) Trailered and street class

LET DO IT! We can have the first scale comp next weekend see you there!

Doesn't seem like anybody is interested Mark. Me and you can have one in Minot sometime cause I'm not gonna make it to Bismark. 8 hours of driving in one day is too expensive and boring for me to do by myself.

It seems like thats how it is will the whole crawling thing around here?

Well me steve and chad are still plannin on running some scale this weekend if you want to come play.

Jay we'll just have to get together ourselves and come up with some dates for the summer.

I haven't lost interest yet, just slammed again with work until june. I got my fab shop up and running over the weekend. I just got started on a Creeper based tube Bronco and by the end of summer I hope to have my other Creeper converted to comp tuber and a rock course in the back yard. I may be down but I'm not out.

Lets get together and have a scale event in the end of april begining of may. How does that sound for everyone?

I'm pretty much out of any gtg action until June

I barely have frame rails and Shock mounts. Right now it bolts up in the stock laydown shock config. That makes the front shocks not so scale and I'm toying with some under hood ideas. I got to think about the front end some more. Once I get past that I'll go with the build thread.
