The idea was make the Bismarck comp a weekend and have the KOH in New Salem on that sat.

Anyone interested? Or any thoughts or ideas?

Already got plans for the trophy!

I'm in, maybe do a best of show trophy, hard luck trophy and of course a King(or queen?) of the Holstein, also I'd like to see a tire hight limit, and some scale accessories required, like lights and a spare tire, any other scale goodies would be to your aid in the best of show?

U can run 2.2s but they cant be any bigger than 5 inches. I also think that the truck should have some kind of frame mounted cage. Jus so somebody cant show up with a scx with a crawler body and kick ass cause they have a lower cog. Thats also why we were thinking the lights and a few accessories that the real trucks would have.

Any other thoughts any one has?

A KOH event is a class 3 event and that's what the Wraith is. Dave just wants to rub it in about his new Wraith

You can run a class three rig in this as long as the tire is 5in or smaller.

here's a better question, WHY the arbitrary tire limit? Terrain limitations or what? Oh and Daves info is straight out of the SORRCA rules on crawler.

Those are the scale rules. Montana uses those rules, as does the rest or the U.S.

Just asking a question, sorry if I offended you Sam...

You haven't offended me dave, I understand that MSD rules are a good go by, but at the same time we have very few trucks that will run this event. Me thomas and marc have 1.9 based rigs, with a 5in and under tire so far the only 2.2 based truck I know of is your Wraith. If there were enough to do two classes then all rules go out the window, but as stated before I only know of 4 people and trucks planning on making this event. If theres more I dont know I'm sorry for making a fuss about this.

We did talk bout runnin both classes but i dont know if it would be fair to run them together and would there be enough time to get both classes done in one day.
I guess if we only have 4 people planned to run 1.9s now we could open it up and have a 2.2 class?

I want to be fun for everyone so lets not get in a tissy over it.

anyone want my two cents? anyone? anyone? to bad here it is. I think we have comp rigs for rules and stuff. Maybe the scalers should just be for fun. I'm running a class 1 rid and I dont care if I'm running against the class 2 and 3 rigs. unless we get enough to run classes that is.

Now whos all going from the fargo area. I kindof need a ride if anyone is intrested hint hint

Ok here's what has been discussed.
Rig must have a roll cage attached to the main frame(no cgr bodies no tvp cassis).
Rig must have a minimum of a spare tire, jack, lights and toolbox.
Tire limit of 5in, if there is enough we will run an open tire class.
Trucks will be run one at a time, fastest time wins.
Single speed transmission only.
Trucks must be shaft drive.
Winches recomended.
4ws or dig allowed.

Courses will start at Salem Sues Teets and Finish there.

I agree with Scott, FTR. Run what ya brung, then we all can play. Only rule that makes ANY kind of sense is no comp rigs.

What happened to your truck? Did you sell it?
