Well maybe "changes" are a bit missleading. More like defining what we have.

1. There must be a judge, spotter, driver. 3 present to score.

2. Time limits, 5-8min. Reason, so we don't go on all night.

3. This is the biggi, definition and clarification of said rules.
1. What is exactly hitting a gate
2. What is exactly a reverse
3. I am for penalities as such:
A. Reverse 1pt
B. Gate 10pt
c. rollover (side to side) 5pt, if the truck accidently hits you, 5pts. We don't need guys breaking their legs, making a small accident lead into a larger one!
d. Any time the truck is lifted off the ground for any reason, its 10points, and you MUST go back to the previous gate cleared. While the truck is in your posession you may repair it by stating it aloud. Also there would be no rollover from front to back, you just go to the last gate cleared. I think this would keep the same scoring format, but make it easier on everyone.

And E. I would be for trying the progressive gate system. Scoring would be the same, except for progress points.

All this is up in the air for debate, as long as you have spent some time crawling with us on tuesday nights

I say we clear this up, and stick with it. This will help aviod debates and move things on quicker.

What say ye crawler guys8-)

Any time penalties for repairs??? What are you considering back to the last gate ? Rear axle between the gates ,correct?

This will all be setup for trial and error for awhile especially on the gate progressive pointing system. Just to see how it works out. right Tom

Yes to all, just like before. The only thing different is we are grouping all the picking up the truck penalties together, and making all of them return to the last cleared gate. Takes the hassel out of it.

Repairs still on time limits, and rear axle between the gate.

Sounds like you got it Ben..............I mean rob:-P

P.S. Also the 20pt carry your truck option. Yea, or nay, I am totally fine with either. But remember, your advantage would be less now, it would help for time, but if you dont' get progress for clearing say gate 8, then thats 8 points you miss out on, instead of just one like before. Would make you think about picking up your truck.

Need cory's imput, and anyone else that may have suggestions.

Can't say I'm a fan of the 20 point carry, but if that's what the majority wants, I'm fine with it.
