| Crawling site at Scarborough
This is where I go crawling. There is toilets, a cafe and parking about 30 feet from the crawling area.

Sweet looking area, would love to see some action shots of you crawling. Looks like a great place for a comp.

When I took the pictures today, I went straight from work. I hope to get crawling again this week and will take some. It is a really interesting place to crawl as you cannot just go anywhere. You must pick out your route and go for it.

Nice, sea defences are fantasic crawl spots. I like your Bentley, too. 3 and a half hours from me though. Last edited by 4link4eva; 01-23-2007 at 09:24 AM. |

I played with my TLT on this very spot last summer, but the gaps were too wide for a TLT to cross, then my 2 year old daughter did a running jump into the sea ! FULLY CLOTHED:-(

LOL. I hope she was alright. Was she crying or laughing? Well I am glad you found the place. At low tide, just in front of that area, there are some real good areas for the TLT. Unfortunately that can be accessed at low tide only. Filey Brigg would be good for the TLT. Your stick would be good at the defences though. I have had some real long runs there. You just need to be close to your truck and position a foot in a few areas to "catch" your truck if it slips. Staithes has slightly smaller blocks of stone and they are laid flat and not on an incline like Scarborough. It is a really good place to see what your truck will do. |

She was fine we had to go to the north shore toilets and wash the sand off her in the sink, that was when she cried.it was the 4th photo were I ran the TLT ,the tide was only just going out so there was still water at the bottom.

| Well today me,Tronk, drzjohn had a meet at Scarborough sea defences. Had a really good time until Tronk's torsion truck started to glitch really bad. Then 5 mins later mine started to glitch. It was really intresting to see mine and drzjohn truck's crawl as we was running almost the same of everything except esc, tyres and wheels. I was running moab tyres john was running moab xl's and so was tronk Tronk's truck out climbed both of us on rocks as he had the advantage of having no link's to catch under the truck on rocks. all are truck's performed really well. with minor breaks. some times my truck would lose control due to glitching and would be hard to control. i should get it fixed tonight. we all had very close calls on the rocks as there was alot of hole's and was wet. i should be able to get a video of the gtg. (very short video with no edit) Regards james |
