I have used lexan, electrical tape and glue on my touring car bodies before. cut the lex to just about the same size of the hole. Hold it in place with tape on the back, and dab a little glue around the cracks. This works great for filling in old body post holes, but I am not sure if it would work on something large. Good Luck

i saved my sportmaxx body with crayola white glue(huge hole cut in the side for my airfilter) .. made the shape of the body with painters tape and started pouring glue on thick and imo looks good for a $2 fix

ShoeGoo and self adhesive drywall tape, the kind with the holes in it.

Surround the area with shoe goo, cut a square of the drywall tape and cover. Press the tape down then put a thin coat of shoe goo over the entire area. It will be the strongest part of the body!
