Default Progression Toward Airbrushed Dodge Truck Body

Now bare with me this is just the first coat. The paint is a mixture of like 17 different purples that were left over at my dads shop, so its kinda dark some times and light at others.Plus it has alotta metallic in it.
Next week if the body is completely ready my buddy will be in to airbrush some flames and skulls on it. Then the whole thing will have like 4 coats of clear.
The 2nd pic is the best close up. The 4th show it at one of its dark times from a distance (As you can see I got everything I need on that coffee table.(beer, smokes, PS2, and my truck))

That is a nice purple color. You are going to airbrush the outside of the body?

PEI eh, I went to University in Charlottetown, and I plan on visiting for a day in June. Where abouts are you from on the Island?

The body is a hard plastic one. It still needs a bit of prep work before the next coat of purple(look in the center of the hood in the 2nd pic and the side of the box in the first pic)
I plan on getting some flames put on it and maybe skulls or something.
I just told him he can do whatever he wants with it, just make it look kool.
Plus he does tattoos for a living so hes good at stuff like that. He just finished doing flames on my brothers cast with an airbrush and it looks awsome..
I live in North River, and Milton.

Any further comments on this body????
Big snow storm going on here so thats why I didnt get a chance to spray the second coat of paint yet.
I might be able to hit it with some paint today.
If I do I will take some pics of it and reassemble it just for the pics.
Then when my buddy shows up to airbrush it I will have it apart again.

Lookin good I would suggest you get some LED's and put them in the light buckets, It will be ALOT brighter.

Its just my 9 volt battery that is running them its dead. So if I just go get a new one that should fix the problem. Plus my room to rewire in new headlights is really really really limited

if you have seen stingers on 1:1 jeeps thats the kind of support you should add (for scale appearences...chances are its strong enough) Basically two bars going either to an exo or through the grill

I never knew the name of the bumper till now, so now I can actually look for it. I got the idea off the front of a 4wd offroad mag that occasionally has crawlers in it. But I just googled "jeep stinger" and I see what you mean for supports. I dont know how I am gonna be doing mine for sure. I just got one of my two upper link mounts for my truck. When I get the other one I will be done with the whole links setup from the axles. So then I will be doing the belly of the chassis. Then when that is all mounted up I am of course gonna wanna test out the axle I have one ESC hooked up on. Then I'm gonna fully decide on the "Stinger" on the front of the truck seeing how it is attached to the chassis permenantly, considering its the end of the chassis anyway. I will probably have to put in some braces to it. My friends and brother are really really disliking the "Stinger" idea, but they aren't into crawlers so the they don't even understand.

Do yas think it would look wierd if I added a wrap-around push bar like the H1 Hummers had on them(the ones that wrap around the end of the hood and a bit of the fenders) along with having the "Stinger" or would it be better to just go through the grill to the shock mounts? If it did go through the grill would I still be able to get the body off without cutting the hell out of it???
