I've used it on a few of my rigs for things like bumpers, headlights, accessories and things like that and I don't back it with anything. I hand paint my Parma paints so I just put enough coats on whatever I'm painting so there's no way to see thru it.

back it with anything you want, red will tint it red blue will tint it blue ad black will tint it darker, it really doesnt make that much diffrence i've run tests before with other chrome paints and white silver or black, i will all work, but generally id say black gives you the best bet. but if youdont have any and are in a pinch use white

the big thing to make sure of is you use the RIGHT PAINT! use what ever the manufacter wants you to

hre properties of the chrome can be effected easly by using the wrong type. typicaly its water base to water base and urethane to urethane

so faskcolor uses faskolor

and dont back with anything else if your spraying another paint over the waterbased id mask it off to keep it from maring

also light coats with the proper time inbetween dont layit on heavy or even medium, light even coats and give the paint proper time to bind together
