starting the same thing here and have the same questions..... Are the body joints "butt welded" or do ya use a small patch piece on the back side to help with alignment and strength? How do you finish the seam on the outside? Use the shoe goo as bondo and sand it smooth? |

What is shoe goo? Is that the hobby based superglue? I would like to chop and narrow a K5 blazer body.

Shoe goo is a repair cement for shoes. It's available at most hardware stores and shoe repair places. It dries fairly flexible so it moves with the body. |
