I use Parma Faskolors almost exclusively. Sometimes I use Spaz Stix depending on what I want.
I started with a Paasche airbrush a few years ago and it was ok for a while but I eventually upgraded to an Iwata and it made such a difference.
Spraying shadows with the Faskolors with that Badger will take a lot of experimentation and practice.
For your shadows use thinned FasTint. With that you can reduce air pressure considerably and allow you to move in close to get a tight shadow.
Overall, your paint looks good. It's just a matter of patience and practice that you will improve...

I have been eyeing the Iwata's which model do you recomend? The Eclipse CS looks nice, and looks like it could get the job done...

Practice is where it is at... Thanks for the tips and the comments!!

The Iwata Revolution CR is all you will ever need for RC painting...
Quality and craftsmanship is like a surgical tool.

No it's not too expensive but it far exceeds any other brush in it's price range...
If you hold one you won't want to put it down.
I get most of my stuff from Coast Airbrush in Anaheim.
Check them out, they have great prices and customer service.

I just got the email they shipped it... Being in NC, it may take a few days... expected to be here Friday.

I really can't wait... Got another C10 body coming, and now going to pick up a couple touring car bodies to play with as well once I get the airbrush!!

Got some FasTint on order as well! and what is so funny... I told my wife... "Ah 500 bucks and I am done in this hobby... I won't spend any more!"

hehehe... What she doesn't know won't hurt her!

Yeah, it will take a few days to go cross country but it was free shipping.
You can always get some of the overhead projection clear sheets to practice on as well as 2 liter coke bottles.
If you need any help with the FasTint and shadowing just let me know...

Will do... I was going to look at the local craft shop for some sort of thin plastic mats or something like the overhead sheets for stencils... One thing I want to tackle (I know.. baby steps) is true flames!

I will let you know if I need some help with the FasTint!! Thanks for the info so far!!
