Default Paint compatability????

hey guys i am no paint expert so i was wondering if i use faskolor to do some detail work on lexan with the airbrush then back it with pactra rattle can will the two paints get along or am in store for some serious reaction...

The Pactra in a can is laquer based, and they go on "hot" which means they can react to enamels and acrylics. If you apply the Pactra in super light coats and build up slowly it might work. But it might be touchy.

It would be much better to apply the Pactra first, then apply the Faskolor acrylic. The acrylic will not react to the laquer.

I did what you are talking about once, except I used Pactra acrylic first, then the Pactra spray paint. The spray paint ate into the acrylic.

X2, also let the waterbased paint dry for a good 24 hours before spraying the Pactra. I've done it several times and haven't had any issues...
