| Ripped B-17 Betty
Well, I thought I'd try doing a "ripped" look on this body. I spent so much time making the rips look right that I rushed the flag. The other problem I had is that this body is so thin that I had a hard time getting a good cut into the liquid paint mask. Anyway, I learn a little more each time I paint. |

the problem may not have been the liquid mask but the paint you were using? what was the exact issue you were having with the LM? it cuts easy with damn near anything as long as you complete the cut. having a sharp blade just keeps your edges nice and consitant. if you found spots you had cut before that werent peeling you're paint may have reacted with the LM, sealing it up again. for your rips use something besdies chrome i like using white black and grey with a touch of blue in the darker portions. |
