Default going outside my box.

In the last week I went from a stock Axial to a prototype rig. So i went with something that would push my painting skills. let me know what you think.

I like it... kinda cartoony. If you were going for carbon, you've got the technique, just need a smaller mask material. Same with the shadows by the patch panels... just need to be a little smaller. Some rust seapage woulda been over the top.... in a good way ;)

This was my first atempt at both the panels and the carbon. Plus i did start it the day of our first comp. So i did rush it.

Looks good. I recently pushed myself to do rips and it's fun moving into new territory. I like the metal panels a lot!

How do you like those Flat Irons?

Let me tell you, I seen this body first hand. And for a quick, fly by the seat of your pants paint job, it's awesome. Good work Super Bob

You know you got a C-10 body coming your way.

do you have a suggestion for a better mask? I used drawer liner. it was a pain in the a$$ to work with.

I've seen window screen at the local Home Depot that looked like it would work well. Pretty sure I read a how-to on a drifter forum awhile ago that used window screen. I personally haven't used it though.
