Ha, I also had my old JConcepts body off my GT2 on my comp rig for a while. Only problem was it would sometimes not roll off the concave roof.

By looking at the pic ahead an idea popped into my head. The Rock Steady body looks so much smaller than the grappler but close to the same shape...
How cool would 2 comp style rigs look one a 2.2 with a grappler and the other a 1.9 (little shorter WB) with a rock steady? just something that popped into my head when I saw that last pic.

By the way that body looks great.

Thanks, it is a AX-10 with the long upper links & The Y joint removed with a TCS rear link mount & a front servo mount i made. The shocks are the Big Bores with internal springs. A lot of what is on this rig were ideas i got from this forum board. I did tie in the top of the chassis with the tri-link parts (to form a "X" at the top) & brake line made links, it really helped the wiggle of the chassis from side to side.

That is about the slickest looking paint I've seen on a lid in a while. Not over the top, but it haz some pizzaz.

Are those arrow designs decals or did you paint those?

I love this body for the AX-10. In terms of fit and functionality, it's way beyond the kit body. Just rattle-canned this one to get it on there ASAP, but so far I've been very impressed with both fit and functionality.

Here is my current Rock Ready from J Concepts.

I should be testing the "next" body from JC next week!

Looks great dezfan...
I also will be painting/testing the 2 new ones as well. Hope to have them painted and posted up by this weekend. It's always nice to see something new to the crawler world.

Is that a completely different body or did they change it already?

It's the next body. You can have std. or ext. cab. I also have the next one after this sitting here if they do indeed release it. Definately a little different.

I was hoping to have the other one painted too but I just haven't had time...
