In airbrushes you get what you pay for.... Go with an Iwata Revolution or Iwata Eclipse HPCS they run around $150 but I have had mine for 5 years and not a single problem, and I use them at work daily. Also check out the Iwata LPH-50 for bigger single color jobs.

The Paasche H series hobby kit can be had for around $45-$50. It's a single action airbrush, nothing fancy, but durable and reliable. I've used one since high school and it's never let me down. For a bit more control, the Paasche VL series hobby kit is around $50-$55. It's a dual action airbrush, meaning you can control the air and paint separately. Push the button down for air, then forward for paint. It's a little tricky to get used to at first, but can get more detailed than a single action. Either one is a good choice for that price range. |

Master G22 from airbrushdepot.com, just got one in and it seems to be a nice gun. I also have a Badger 150 and I think I like the master better. and it is only $40.

I would go for a dual action for sure. It will really enable you to do much more.

I have a Iwata Eclipse HPCS as well and LOVE it. I also have a badger anthem that I use for spraying wider patterns and faskoat. I also agree that Faskolor sucks ass. I have tried it numerous times because I always hear people telling me they love it and it works so well, but I just dont understand it. Stuff is nothing but a hassle for me and seems like alot lesser quality paint than Pactra or Spaz which I typically use. I do use faskoat and fasbacker though simply because I dont care how it sprays and its just backers. |

Ive never had that but my always sprays out really chalky and sputters. Doesnt seem to matter what pressure I shoot it at or if I thin it or not. Ill just stick with Spaz or Pactra where its ready to spray right out of the jar.. I wish Faskolor worked for me though because its cheaper and ya get more of it. |
