Default Body joins

I have cut an shut a body and the lines are almost perfect where they join, I have glued the inside with with lexan but now i'm stumped as to what you guys use to make the lines on the outside look good. Do you use a filler ? If so does it need to be a flexible filler ? Any help appreciated please

I used white putty for models that I found at the LHS.

Thanks Jmz6, could I ask for a picture of the putty please, I live in New Zealand and when asking for things regarding R/C's I get the oddest looks even the hobby shops have no clue what I am looking for.

You said you "have glued the inside with with lexan" - is it a clear lexan body, or is it a "hard" body, like a Clod or Hi-Lift? If it is clear, you wouldn't want to use an opaque white putty. Maybe just a thin bead of Shoe-Goo smoothed into the joints.

This is what I used. Works best on hard bodies and thick lexan bodies, might be too brittle for thin bodies

Shoe goo if the body is lexan.

Filler if the body is styrene.
