Default Ripped HPI Bug

I was getting ready for another disaster like my first lexan but it didnt happen so I thought I'd post up since it tuned out better than I thought .
I used Parma liquid mask for the first time and had a bit of a hard time keeping the thinner parts of the rips to stay stuck to the lexan...I may try a different maker of liquid mask next time.Used standard Tamiya Copper and Champagne Gold spray paints backed with black. My pictures still arent so great but here it is...

Not bad at all, although your camera settings make the finish look a little grainy.

gj on the lid

as for your camera shooting grainy pics, try shooting at a lower mega pixel. high mp pics tend to get grainy when u shrink them down. about 1-2mp is perfect for posting pics online

Looks good, you did a great job.
I highly recommend Bob Dively's Liquid Mask Film. That's all I use and it works great. 4 medium coats will do the trick nicely.

Very nice paint job. I use the parma mask too and it sucks when trimming
tight areas. I plan on using the Bob Divelys, like MikeyMike suggested, when this stuff is gone. I've heard good things about it.
Tower Hobbies carries Bob Dively.

The paint looks dam good you should hack that bug down (loose the fenders) and get it mounted up nicely on that rig of yours.

Very nice body, great color choice. I have to agree with Stormin, the fenders are gone when I do mine... Still very cool.

Can you tell me what you used for the window tint, spray on?

Nice looking bug. I got a parma body on order and I am still trying to figure out my paint scheme. I love what colors you used. Looks killer.

OK, it looks great. I tried the spray on window tint, nothing but trouble, most likely user error.
