It is plastic paint tho. I tried some scrap and it seems like its tough. This body isn't gonna be beat around, its gonna be for a drifter.

That paint is not formulated to adhere to lexan, it will come off.

You can paint Krylon on a lexan body but you need to prep it first.

The primer Drumbeater is speaking of is Klean-Strip "Bull Dog" (it's clear) you can paint with just about any paint and it will hold. It has a flex additive that bonds with the paint and the lexan or even rubber. I'd mask the windows first prior to priming. It's excellent for painting on the outside.

FYI

A little off topic, but I paint using Faskolor and I back all my offroad and Nitro bodies with Kyrlon paint to protect it. Never any issue yet..

I tried some fusion on a scrap piece of lexan and I could not scrape it of, I folded the panel in half and I would not break loose. I had high hopes for this stuff, but again I guess we will find out. And I live in a town with 250,000 people and the LHS has nothing. If you were to call them ( I have ) and asked for a servo, any servo at all, you would get the answer " we just sold the last one". I have been going there for 6 months and still not servos.

Yeah right. This guy sells Traxxas, but does not stock glow plugs, or glow starters. None. Not one. He has 15 cars on the wall, and not one spare glow plug. Not one spare revo rod end, not glow starters. So some of us are stuck with wally world if we want something now.
