Default ? How to remove paint ?

How can I remove paint from a hard bodies window? I want to make sure I do it right, I know some chemicals will turn the window, or ruin it.

Thanks
Tom

I think you would be able to use the same stuff as you would use on lexan.

Brake fluid, I do believe does the trick. Someone back me up on that though.

id be careful on the windshields, smoked or clear types, it may leave swirl marks if it doesnt eat it.

could try Purple Power or Castrol Super Clean degreasers, safest on hard plastics.

The paint is an automotive paint. Its was really hard to get off the body.

Just want to make sure it doesn't mess up the glass. Its on a Tamiya Jeep Wrangler.

The eat it part is what I am most concerned about.

I'll try some purple power. It didn't do anything for the body, but might for the glass.

Thanks guys!

I had a vintage Brat body that had paint on the glass, what I did was sand it off with 1500 grit sandpaper and then airbrushed clear enamel over it (don't use laquer it has a chance of yellowing a clear, but since you windows are smoked it should be fine, but I would use enamal just in case), after the paint dryed for about 2 weeks I used an automotive polish. looked pretty good. the longer you wait with the polish step the better, to let the paint fully cure (minimum 2 weeks, a month would be better).
I have always shyed away from any chemical stripping on plastic.
