| Buy yourself a roll of drywall repair tape, the stuff that looks like open mesh with adhesive on one side. Lay 1-3 layers (alternating angle wrt each layer) as necessary. Then mash the Shoo Goo into the mesh with a wetted finger. Works great. Narly1 |

| Shoe Goo is good but if you can find Fender Mender that is the sh!&. I think at one time it was distributed by HRP. It comes in a can with a yellow label, the lid has a brush to apply the product. Used it a lot in on-road. It also works good if you use a little in the body mount area to help form damage in that area to the paint or body. |

I think I have shoe goo . I will look for the drywall tape or plumbers tape. Isn't Plumbers tape the White thread seal stuff ? Last edited by toy4crawlin; 12-09-2008 at 12:06 AM. |

| Yeah its like that grid tape. (like the ribs in duct tape). The idea is that your fiber reinforcing the glue. I use Goop or shoe goo whatever is easiest to find. |
