| Dupli-Color acrylic lacquer paint
I had read on here somewhere that auto lacquer paint will stick to lexan without any prep to the surface of the lexan. I found at an auto parts store Dupli-Color Acrylic Lacquer paint. Anyone ever try this? I'm looking to paint the inside of the body to simulate rust and then paint over the outside of the body with another color. When the outside gets scratched then the "rust" shows through. |

You may have to use their Adheason Promoter first, I've had to do that with bodies I've painted with their normal paints.

Great idea, like to know how it turns out, but I wonder if the rust paint inside if it is not a lexan paint then it might come off after a few roll overs. |
