| test it on some scrap lexan and see what happens...... i've always used 1:1 paint thinner and water |

| the only problem with that is the oil will penatrat the body and then the paint wont stick. |

| I have been using brake fluid to strip lexan bodies and other painted parts for years. Buy the cheapest brake fluid you can find - you will not be able to reuse it. It all works . . . Dot 3, Dot 4 . . . After you have removed the paint with the brake fluid, just remember to wash the body with warm soapy water and some JOY dishwashing liquid (or similar hand-safe dishwashing liquid), dry and wipe with denatured alcohol before you repaint. I also use a non scratch scrubby sponge when I do the water/dish soap wash. John |
