Default spazstix color change paint problem

ok so i used the paint liek it says and acked it with black. came out great! but i webnt to cut my lexan body panels for my new tuber and the paint started to slide off under my finger tips its gross im like wtf? ne one know whats wrong imma let it cure for 24 hours and see if it helps but i waited an hour aafter i painted and i even let it sit under a heatlamp and hit it with a hairdryer between coats so i dunno ne advice is welcome at least i have xtra lexan to redo it with a solid color if this doesnt work

you should have done your cutting and trimming before painting. also its always a good idea to let the paint cure for a couple of hours before you start mounting.

also id highly recomend against using the heat lamp unless you want to risk melting or warping the body

Did you clean the body with soapy water before you painted?

How thick did you lay the paint down? That can make a big difference in how long it will take to cure (not dry but cure)... Several very light coats is way better than one or two heavy coats...

Proper surface preparation is a must as well.

i did like they sudjest warm soapy water then cleaned with there cleaning solution. i did 3 light coats of the spaztix and waited about 20 mins between coats because it was kinda cold then hit it with 2 coats of black and then a coat of silver for my decal. i let it dry over night and it was fine. i guess it felt dry but wasnt truely dry so its my own fault. but other then that it came out great! except for the couple finger spots i left lol. the colors really unique and ill have to post up pics but i dont think it will do the color justice.
