Default My Fiat Abarth (the bug crusher)

I always felt this body has crawler potential...have been a great fan of the VW Bug in classic and Baja form. But loved the Fiat 500 Abarth ever since my father owned one years back...maybe one day I will buy and tune one but in the meantime just the RC body...
Ive seen a few Mini bodies on crawlers and laughed...

I am not perfectly happy with the paint job though ...I thought I'd try this stuff made locally "Mr.Hobby"(and its the only liquid mask sold in Crapan, land of RC) this stuff made the blue bleed through the white in places ...I've ordered Bob Dively's from Tower even though its costing me double than US guys including the $25 shipping:-( $50 for the one jar...

There's no way I'm gonna f***ck up my next body for my next super ,its too rare (ill post it after the Dively comes in)...

Well let me know what you think ? Holidays soon so I'll post some action shots of this thing ...I'm just too chicken to cut it up since it's pretty rare and expensive but I guess I will end up doin it anyway after a few beers

Thanks bro , the wheelbase on that rig is about an inch too long at 13.5 so this body is perfect for 2.2 crawlers ...
To tell you the truth I even prefer it over my HPI bug which is very nice ...

And this bad boy rolls over better than the bug I'm surprised it hasn't caught on in the crawling scene ...its a perfect crawler body IMO ...

Looks great. Looks like it would trim up nice as well. Where can I get one of those bad lads?

Thanks mate...I was mega lucky to grab this one (incomplete w.out decals/engine and other plastic stuff) the engine and badge are from my other Tamiya M-03 ...for less than $20

If you can get a hold of the ABC version of this body that's your best bet but I think they are discontinued (also not as scale as the Tamiya)

LOL just looked in fleabay ABARTH US $199.99 starting bid

There is a very similar option too by http://www.abchobby.com/

also discontinued its the Subaru 360 M body

keep looking for an ABC or Tamiya Fiat Abarth or an ABC Subaru 360 I'm sure you will dig something up , if not shoot me a PM

It's $199.99,thats why! Super cool body though.I've been looking for something different myself, though can't see myself spending that kinda coin for a just a body.

The original Tamiya is that much (if in complete form) but if you look around consistently on Ebay or other online sources you will dig one up eventually at a reasonable price ...ABC's version is not so expensive too or the Subaru 360 as I said above.
