Default torsion chassis body mounting questions

I am working on a torsion chassis rig and have mounted the body at 4 corners like normal.

I notice this has stiffened the chassis and reduced flex, obviously, but is it a bad thing?

does it come down to driver preference? or is there a reason for the two body post mount method?

does the lexan weaken or flex unpredictably?
is a cane stiff enough you don't want the extra resistance?
do you oversize the body post holes to allow wiggle room?
would you run two posts in the back and one in the front to make it look like a regular chassis articulating?
What about affixing the body post to the shell and clipping it to the chassis so the body actually pivots on the chassis instead of in the air?

should I just run it and quit worrying about it?

thanks in advance for advise.

If what you have works for you run it. The two body posts allow the body to pivot without binding the twisting action of the chassis.

With the two center posts the body pivots. I've also seen 3 posts two in the hood one in the rear bumper.

I run two post. One front and one Rear. I use a Piece of Foam slide over the body post. The foam keeps the body from flopping side to side. Also doesn't limit the flex this way.

I guess doing the two post would allow greater flexibility while keeping the drive line torque from twisting the spring chassis like a top plate.

how much issue is there with the axles torquing a cane style?

I know with out the body on, goosing the throttle rocks the body posts forward and backward almost 1/4" with my setup.
