Smile My AMP themed grappler

I have been working on this body for the past three days. This was my first multi colored paint job that I have ever done. I will get better pics tomorrow it is night time already. In the one pic with the chassis in the background, the stock Axial shocks are temp. I am awaiting my Losi crawler shocks should be here any day. I will have a complete roller hopefully by the end of next week, depends on how long shipping takes really. Well enough of the chatter on with the pics. Thanks for looking.

P.S. The paint used was all aerosol paint, Pactra paint, and the chrome is Spaz Stix mirror chrome.

Thanks montana.matt, I am happy with how it turned out it will not stay shiny for long.

Thanks all for the nice comments. I can't wait to get it up and running as well as getting back home. Like I said as soon as the rest of my parts arrive I will have a complete roller, so I will post pics of it soon. Thanks again, Mike.

The pictures really dont show how good the purple shines, the purple is candy purple backed with mirror chrome to give you an idea. Thanks for the comment CBR.

I have the candy purple sitting on a shelf at home. I wasn't sure if I would like the color. I have to say that looks awesome. What does backing with chrome do to the purple? I have used silver in the past to back my paint and it seems to work well.

Well before I backed the candy purple it was just like tinting the lexan body, so when I backed the purple with chrome it really stood out. Like I said the pictures just don't do justice when the sun light hits it, it just really pops out at you. I would say just try it on a clear bottle as I did just to test. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Mike

Body looks killer. I have that same purple on 1 of my truggys, it really pops in the sun. You must have spent hours taping that body. Nice job
