Your not the only 1 with that plan I have actually been looking at 1:1's recently to build a replica (they always seem to have busted frames)

I think the designers at Parma have a blurred vision.

With that said this shell isn't bad for a comp circuit.

parma usual has pretty weak repro details and in this case that might be a good thing, I the grill is flat (no detail) I could see making a kaiser front end on it

Thanks for the link, I had a random picture of this truck, and was thinking that this would be a cool first scaler, bashing trail truck.

To get that look, it seems like I'd need 1" wheels. Hmmmm.

They look good with a nice scale paint job

I also added some Hilux lights for head lights

Someone on scale 4x4 did a real nice one with a drop bed and kaiser front grill as well.

I plan to do a drop bed on mine and marui big bear interior is a real nice fit

Chris did a really good job on that Honcho. Looks and drives great in person. Glad to see this being re-released though, at least we simple folk can find one now.

Mine is ordered but I haven't a clue yet what truck it's going on or how it will be painted. Kind of leaning toward a paint job like my '83 cherokee laredo black with silver stripes. I'm glad to see some one putting out the old jeep bodies

Yeah Backroads nice J-truck.

Here's my 1:1 Grand Wagoneer that I wish they would make a body of so I can have a scale one too!

Might have to get the J-truck and call it close.
