I'm always seeking the advice of the people on here rather anywhere else...I have NO IDEA what to do when it comes to airbrushing so if you where to help someone piece together everything needed to do some painting what would you recommend for the air tank, brush gun, etc. Just been considering the airbrush rather than cans.

For a brush I use a Sotar 2020 or that Parma F1. My F1 is the older style that uses the bottle adaptor (the new is gravity feed). I like and use this brush more for easy clean up and fast color changes. Cost wise the F1 is around 125.00, the Sotar 400.00. I use a standard shop compressor, but a airbrush compressor from Harbor Freight will work....cost about 60.00. Just make sure you use a inline filter with adjustable pressure. I not a pro, just my advise.

You definitely want a gravity feed airbrush. I recommend the Iwata Revolution HP-CR which will run you about $75. For a compressor the Craftsman 3 gallon works great with a moisture trap.
