There is a citrus based called Citreaze(sp), that would probably work really well. I have used it on various polymers and it has done nothing to the plastics.

I've stripped a few hard bodies with Easy-Off (yellow top). works quite well, may require a couple applications depending on the piants used. It won't harm the plastic (I've done both styrene and ABS bodies with it) |

Automotive brake fluid(DOT3) stripped the paint off my Blackfoot extreme body without harming it. If you do try brake fluid, though, wear gloves(it will dry out your hands), use in a well ventilated area(very strong smell), and don't use on chrome or transparent parts(it will fog them).
