| paint on the outside of the shell?!
does anyone ever paint on the outside of the body? the reason i ask (before you all start rippin on me) is i thought it would be cool to do to show some rock rash - like a real rig. ex/ paint the inside a light grey, like primer, or a brown, like rust (really depends on what color your outside would be and how you want it to show through). then paint the outside of the body how you want. it would probably need a bit of a clear coat to get some shine to it. now when you're scuffing through rocks, you'd get actual paint scrape like how my old '73 cj5 looked...real rock rash. |
