I would try the model car route I know they used to make specific paints for like tinting windows, if they dont have thoes anmore then you can try the can just make sure you dont spray a thick coat on it.

I shot my Yota lenses with Tamiya Clear Orange (TS73) and hit the grill with Matte Black (TS6) and Flat Clear (TS80) to help pop the color a bit more.

I found that spraying two light coats on the inside of the lense only, gave me a better overall appearance.

Go with the Tamiya transparant spray paint. It's what they are made for.

if you are going to paint the taillights red be careful. red has a tendacy to bleed through any light color, so i would mask out the lens first then let it cure really good then you can mask over it and paint the rest of the body.

I've used Sharpie markers in the past with good results, they come in many different colors.

Thanks, I felt these would work, just wondering what others have used.

I use tamiya transparent bottles. They have amber, red, yellow, etc. You don't see the brush strokes and it works fine.
