Default Clod bodywork

After 2 hours of scrubbing the clod body I got off my buddy for free, I am down to bare plastic, and the eight different colored layers of paint is off. My question is what should I use to fill the blower hole? I was wondering if the blower itself would be good to use to fill in the majority and just use filler to finish it?

File or sand the small lip around the hole so it is flat, cut a piece of styrene and use styrene solvent glue to gluse the piece in place. That will require a little bit of precesion. An alternative will be to glue a piece under the hole to block it off then use filler to cover and smooth the space.

my lhs doesn't stock styrene, so that's why I was thinking about using the blower itself for the plastic to fill it. Since the blower comes apart in halves, I could take the top off and drop it in the hole, and fill around it with body filler.
