Default Paint match help

OK guys I am doing a Cherokee body on my SCX10 pretty soon and was wondering where to find paint to match my 1:1 rig.

Here is the rig:

The color is called gunmetal blue metallic.

Any suggestions?

Try Tamiya paints. They seem to have a wide variety of colors. Or if you can use an airbrush you could always mix your own. Good luck

Most good auto body paint suppliers can mix paint and put it in a aerosol can. I use to have this done all the time when I worked at a diesel performance shop color matching parts to the body color or interior color.

If you find one that can do that give them the paint code from your jeep. And they will mix a perfect match

go to automotivetouchup.com and type in the year, make, and model and they can get your paint code. 12oz aerosol can is kinda pricey @ 19.99 but i guess its worth it if you can match it up perfectly. ill let you all know once i

Good ideas, but wouldn't automotive paint chip off the body? That's why there is paint specially made for the lexan bodies.

Thats what I'll do. Just didn't know if the paint would be ok on Lexan not that I really care I'm gonna beat the crap out of the body anyways. I know a guy at an auto body supply store so I will have him mix up some. I got the paint code on my door tag so I will just have that mixed up. Need to get some mixed up for the upper quarter guards and taillight housing for my 1:1 rig anyways.
